Updates on Country Christmas at Popes: Thank you for joining us this Saturday, Dec. 12th. So many parts of our community have sponsored this event in order to keep it affordable for everyone, and we are thrilled to have your family there as well. Here are some things to remember to help us all stay safe throughout this event. - Tours and activities will begin at 6:00 with the last tour at 8:00. Gate and parking open at 5:30.... Please follow parking attendants instructions. They are there to help with safe parking and traffic flow. South Georgia Tractor and Grady County Sheriff's Office will be there to help with transporting those with mobility challenges and traffic safety. - All snacks, photos with Santa, crafts and and activities are included with the $20 donation. Remember that is $20 per car or van. Load up your family! Cash is preferred - exact change helps a lot. - All parties are welcome in portico and in the museum. To help make sure that everyone has a Merry Christmas, please come prepared to have a touchless temperature check taken and wear a mask while inside the museum. - Outside activities such as music, the Christmas story, sales vendors and more will be around the property. Please respect social distancing guidelines. - Yes, there will be caroling, dancing, cookies, photo ops with Santa, tours of the Popes Museum, music and the CHRIST story. We will see you there!

Great news to share !

We are getting so excited for this Saturday's event! Are you looking for a safe place to take your children and a fun event for the whole family? Then you want to be at Popes Museum on Saturday night. We will have a costume parade in between the movie showings and candy/prizes for parade participants. Shakespeare at Popes Museum!

We have made a lot of noise about our sponsors for next Saturday's live theatre event. We also have some AMAZING sponsors for our FRIGHT NIGHT on October 31st! First up: Holli Allen and @DJstoGO. Working together with Dixie Diesel they are providing the technology to make this fabulous movie on the grounds happen! THANK YOU!

ISO: Portable Keyboard. We are stoked about doing our first ever movie on the grounds of Popes Museum on October 31st. With the first film The Addams Family it would be perfect to have to have "LURCH" playing the harpsichord and/or organ as people are setting up their chairs and getting their refreshments (sponsored and sold by the Zebulon Theater). I have an piano playing actor for LURCH, but need to borrow a keyboard! SURELY someone in town can help!
