OK.....HERE GOES. ONE LAST TIME AT POPS. I HAVE BEER THAT NEEDS TO GO BEFORE I CLOSE PERMANENTLY. I WOULD LOVE TO SEE ALL OF OUR CUSTOMERS COME VISIT ONE LAST TIME. POPS FILLING STATION WILL BE OPEN TOMORROW, 4/19 & 4/20 FROM 6-8 TO FILL YOUR GROWLERS OR SIP. THEN, 4/22 - 4/25 FROM 5-7. CASH ONLY BECAUSE I NO LONGER CAN RUN A CARD.... I WANT TO THANK EVERYONE THAT HAS ROCKED THIS PAST VENTURE WITH US FROM DAY 1. THIS WAS TRULY A RIDE AND I HAD FUN AND LEARNED ABOUT BEER. NOW, LIVI LOU'S SWEETS AND TREATS IN HELEN IS MY NEW VENTURE AND I AM HAVING A BLAST WITH IT.

Well, with great pleasure, sadness and excitement, Brian and I would like to announce the our business, Ga Mobile Lube, has been purchased by a major corporation. Ga Mobile has been my baby for 10 years and Brian's for 6. We have put LOTS of money, time, tears, sweat, laughter....all highs and lows into this business. I took chemo all day and would help Brian service trucks at night. We were dedicated and hey...this is what few our children. We have gained FANTASTIC work r...elationships which Brian will usher into this new company and still maintain a working relationship with my "babies". We have had some of the best employees a small business could have along with those that made me shake my head later on over. To those that stood by us and to those that never felt the need to stab us, THANK YOU. GOD will see that you are blessed. This means North Ga Diesel, along with Pops Filling Station and Vintage Garage will be closing. Yes.....Pops will be closing indefinitely, effective last of February. BREAKS MY HEART BUT this other new adventure will be GREAT for our family. Pops has not been welcomed by those that should be welcoming to new businesses into this county. HOWEVER, OUR CUSTOMERS HAVE BEEN GRAND, EXCITING AND FULL OF LIFE. I HAVE LEARNED MANY THINGS FROM CUSTOMERS ABOUT THE CRAFT BEER INDUSTRY. And hey, never know....I might have something up my sleeve for something on down the road for Pops. Stay tuned. IN THE MEAN TIME, you all are welcome to come visit us in Helen at LIVI LOU'S SWEETS AND TREATS. The shop is right beside Cowboys and Angels. Hoping to open the first of March. In conclusion, we want to THANK EVERY CUSTOMER WE HAVE HAD THE LAST 10 YEARS WITH GA MOBILE, 6 YEARS WITH N GA DIESEL AND 3 YEARS WITH POPS FILLING STATION AND VINTAGE GARAGE. My heart has been heavy with this decision for the last 2 months. But when I see my husband smile and laugh....I know FOR A FACT MY GOD BROUGHT US TO THIS AND WILL SEE US THRU. THIS is the path that has been chosen and now we shall walk it together and see where it takes us. I hope my parents are proud of me/us and our accomplishments. We have achieved something that some only dream of. Daddy was definitely with me today....3 fold. Mary Simons Wood, I love you and hope you are proud of me, tattoos and all.
