Students and staff enjoyed Superbowl Friday by wearing their favorite NFL/football team's jersey!

It's time to wear your NFL team jersey today to cheer on the Super Bowl on Sunday, 13th.

We celebrated dental day at school today! The students sang songs, practiced brushing their teeth and talked about foods that make our teeth strong and healthy. We even had special treat bags delivered from the dentist. Happy Smiles for Dental Health Awareness month!

Nansi BalcazarEarly Preschool Classroom Associate Teacher 2018-2019 Employee of the Year Mrs. Nansi Balcazar is celebrating sixteen years with our Primrose Of Cumming East family. Nansi is a constant presence in our Early Preschool classroom. She is usually in her classroom bright and early in the morning, ready to greet her little ones. Nansi says that she loves to work with the children, and it’s always rewarding when they say I love you!.... Nansi is originally from Guanajuato, Mexico. She loves to go back to visit friends and family. Nansi and her husband, Humberto, have been married for eighteen years. They have two lovely daughters, Jazmin and Catalina. Jazmin is a senior in high school. Catalina is in kindergarten. If Nansi could go anywhere she wanted to for a vacation, she would go back her hometown in Mexico. She says that she really enjoys her time there, so it is always her first choice. We’re so glad you are a part of our family. Congratulations Nansi!

Tori Watkins Support Teacher Ms. Tor Watkins is celebrating her one year anniversary with Primrose School of Cumming East. She’s a native of Cumming, Georgia and currently attending South Forsyth High School. When we asked Tori what she likes most about working at our school, she said that she loves being around the children and forming connections with them. When she’s not at Primrose, Tori is a South Forsyth cheerleader and recently was selected to the Georgia Cheerlead...ing Coaches’ Association Class A-7A All-State team. She loves the color pink. Her favorite junk food is BBQ chips and Goldfish crackers. Her favorite holiday is Christmas. Tori has two dogs, Jett and Samson. If given the opportunity to take a dream vacation, Sawyer would like to go to Bora Bora. Thank you for all you do, Tori - we’re glad that you’re part of our team!

Tina DeYongExecutive Administrator Mrs. Tina DeYong is celebrating four years with us at Primrose School of Cumming East. Tina, who has many years of experience in the Primrose environment, is a member of our Leadership Team. She often greets parents and children as they enter our school early in the morning. Tina says she likes to interact with all of the families. She also loves to watch the children learn and grow. A native of Knoxville, Tennessee, Tina moved to the A...tlanta area many years ago with her husband Art. She and Art have been married for forty years. Avid NASCAR fans, they love to pack up their fifth wheel and head out to the races. Tina often has a special item with her that sports the number eighteen, in honor of her favorite NASCAR driver Kyle Busch. She also has an affinity for M & M’s candies. For a change of pace, Art and Tina like to visit Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and Canada. Thank you for all you do Tina! Congratulations!

Sawyer ThomasSupport Teacher Ms. Sawyer Thomas is celebrating her one year anniversary with Primrose School of Cumming East. She’s a native of Abbeville, South Carolina and currently attending Forsyth Central High School. You’ll find Sawyer working in most of the classrooms because she is very good with all age groups. When we asked her what she likes most about working at our school, she said that she loves being around the children and forming connections with them. Whe...n she’s not at Primrose, Sawyer likes shopping and photography. She loves the color lilac. Her favorite food is french fries and favorite candy is sour gummy worms. Her favorite holiday is Christmas because she enjoys shopping. Sawyer loves watching any movie as long as Kevin Hart is in it. Sawyer has three dogs Echo, Chico and Tinker.
