Mrs. Mary A. Daniels February 11, 1950 ~ January 20. 2021 Ms. Mary A. Daniels of Ft. Benning, GA transitioned home Wednesday at Orchard View Nursing Facility. She was 70 years of age. The daughter of Alexander and Alma Hill McQueen, Ms. Daniels was born in Richmond, Virginia and has resided in the Chattahoochee area since 1989. She was a devout member of the Peaceful Holiness Church where she served as a Deaconess, with the Ushers’ Ministry, as a member of the Choir, and she... taught Sunday School. She was currently working as a customer service representative with the Army Air Force Exchange Services. One of Ms. Daniels favorite pastime was traveling. Preceding her in death, other than her parents, include: three children, Noreen McQueen, Keith McQueen and Kevin McQueen; three siblings, Alexander McQueen, Jr., Margaret Bradley and Ernestine Jackson. Surviving her departure with cherished memories, include: her belove children, Dr. Tiffany Frasier, Robert C. Watson, Seabee EO2 Jerome A. Daniels, Sandy L. Daniels Passmore (Curtis), and Hakeem J. Daniels; four grandchildren, two siblings, Cordell Belser (Ella) and Eva M. McQueen; a host of other relatives and friends. The Homegoing Celebration for Ms. Daniels will be held Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at 12 noon at the Progressive Chapel with Pastor Helen Purnell officiating. Mrs. Frankie May Walker June 12, 1927 ~ January 19, 2021 Mrs. Frankie May Walker of Columbus transitioned home peacefully Tuesday at her residence. She was 93 years of age. Born in Lumpkin, Georgia on June 12, 1927, Mrs. Walker was the daughter of the late Dock and Carrie Bridges Crocker. She was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church where she served in the Choir. Mrs. Walker was a professional seamstress by trade who loved sewing for her family as well as clients within t...he community. Other than her parents, Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Claude Walker, a son Charlie Williams, and a grandchild, Antoinnette Gunn. Surviving her departure with cherished memories, include: her beloved children, Eula Pines (George), Laster Walker, Luster Walker (Dorothy), Brenda Kelley and Linda Westbrooks; twelve grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; a sister, Irene Buford; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The Homegoing Celebration in Loving Memory of Mrs. Frankie M. Walker will be Thursday, January 28, 1921 at 11:00 a.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church with Reverend C. L. McCall officiating.
