In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, partners from PruittHealth - Brookhaven dressed up in their best pink outfits and paraded around the neighborhood to celebrate survivors! There are several partners at the center who have survived, and it's important to show them some love + recognize the battle they've faced!

POSITIVE UPDATE: PruittHealth Fort Oglethorpe has officially de-escalated from Alert Code Red and is now operating at Alert Code Amber status. UPDATE: North Carolina State Veterans Home Black Mountain, PruittHealth Blythewood, PruittHealth Columbia, PruittHealth Moncks Corner and PruittHealth Washington are now operating at Alert Code Red status, with at least one presumptive positive COVID-19 case in the centers or transferred to a local hospital. The Committed to Caring Committee did a fantastic job putting together this partner appreciation cookout at The Oaks at Whitaker Glen. Thankfully, the weather cooperated so they could grill out and enjoy a meal outside. They also celebrated recently de-escalating from Alert Code Red status to Alert Code Amber. It looks like everyone had a great time!

FALL FESTIVAL Partners from The Oaks at Whitaker Glen hosted a wonderful "Fall Festival" for residents! They enjoyed carnival food like corn dogs, pulled pork sandwiches, caramel apples and funnel cakes. The festival also had raffles and games. It was a beautiful day that helped lift the spirits of all the residents!
