The PTO of St. Andrew's School

We had a great PTO coffee meet-up this morning at Plant Riverside!

Please RSVP to our PTO coffee meetup tomorrow morning! We will meet on the river in front of Starbucks between 8:30-9:00am. We can also check out the Christmas Market after!

For the first time ever, St. Andrew’s School is participating in eSports, multiplayer video game competitions. The team is currently ranked 9th out of 438 teams.... Their record is 15-2 and play continues this Thursday against Odyssey Charter School out of Palm Beach, Florida. The team is coached by math teacher Nick Broom and competes against teams along the Eastern Seaboard through PlayVS, the official scholastic high school and college esports league. ESports is similar to any traditional sport at school, said Nick Broom. We work as a team, develop strategies, and compete against other schools with the added benefit of no travel time. The St. Andrew’s team competes in Rocket League, a soccer-like video game where players use cars rather than feet to try and score goals. The game is designed for play in teams of three. Team members include Maclean Babcock ’23, Cameron Beke ’23, William Garguilo ’23, Joe Kinsey ’23, and Richard Witbeck ’23.

So incredibly humbled by our school families! We collected more than 160 coats and another 40+ hats mittens and scarves for our One Warm Coat Drive! I’m on my way to Old Savannah City Mission to donate! WOW! Go Lions! Thank you! Can’t wait to do it again next year!
