Maggie hadn’t seen me in 2 months because she had been away with her family! She clearly missed me, and it warmed my heart. It’s the best day at work when your patients are this happy to see you! Maggie had surgery for a cruciate tear almost 2 years ago but still comes periodically for a tune-up and to monitor her other knee. It’s always great to see her and her mom!

10 weeks ago Jax was diagnosed with a right iliopsoas tear, and last week his mom was given the great news by Dr. Britt Carr Benson, that on ultrasound, it’s 100% healed! His mom has been bringing him regularly for rehabilitation and has been extremely compliant with her home program! Well all her hard work, time and dedication to Jax’s recovery has really payed off! Now the return to sport program can begin and we hope to have him back to dock diving and agility in the spring! Yay for team Jax!

Best feeling in the world when the dog you just finished working with doesn’t want to leave! Wrigley came for a wellness visit and when mom came to pick him up, this is what he did! He melted my heart and makes me know I’m doing my job right!
