What a Year. We could tell you the usual things... like how many of you wonderful people we served, how many tacos you ate, and margaritas you drank (which we will tell you, of course) . But there's some *new* things we want to share first. So in 2020...... Some things that you'd expect would happen during a pandemic happened: To-go orders increased by over 200%. We purchased 1,448 reusable masks. We added 6 new outdoor seating areas. Some things that had nothing to do with the pandemic happened: We Donated $3,500 to the Ocean Conservancy! And saved over 1.5 million plastic straws from being used. We opened up our 7th Pure Taqueria in Columbus, GA! We introduced House-made Masa at EVERY. SINGLE. PURE. Some things, amongst all the change in the world, stayed the same: Our #1 item of 2020 was Steak Tacos, AGAIN! You ordered 108,024 of them this year! We served 567,061 Guests, sold 339,156 Tacos, and made 353,653 Margaritas! (So lots of tacos and margaritas were still enjoyed this year!) As much as we're looking forward to a brand new start in 2021, most of all, we're feeling immensely thankful. The restaurant and hospitality industry have suffered unimaginably this year, with record numbers of restaurants, many longstanding, closing their doors forever. We are grateful our story is different, and our story is different because of you. Thank you for your continued support this year. For supporting our team-members amongst the unknown. For your kind words. For showing up and letting us do what we love: serving our PURE friends and family! So whether you chose to dine with us in-store, on the patio, in your car, or on your couch.
