If you have been exposed to or are experiencing mild Covid-19 symptoms, please refrain from visiting the Emergency Room for Covid-19 testing. While PGH is here ...to serve the health needs of our community, it is important for us to reserve our ER space for those experiencing severe Covid-19 symptoms or in need of emergent care. PGH offers testing through the Covid Clinic on Tuesday and Thursday, 8:30-11:00 AM and 1:00-3:30 PM. Testing through the Covid Clinic at PGH requires a referral from a doctor. We encourage you to use the local testing facilities at your disposal. CVS Lake Oconee and CVS Wayne St. in Milledgeville offer Covid-19 testing at no cost. Lake Country Urgent & Primary Care, Southeastern Immediate Care in Milledgeville, After Hours Urgent Care in Madison, and Oconee Urgent Care - Madison are offering Covid-19 testing as well. Lake Country Pharmacy and Magnolia Medical Group offer Covid-19 testing, but out of pocket payment is required. Referral from a doctor is not required for any of the Covid-19 testing sites listed.
