At Quest we realize there is a shortage of rental homes affordable and available to extremely low income households (ELI), whose incomes are at or below the poverty guideline or 30% of their area median income (AMI). Many of these households are severely cost burdened, spending more than half of their income on housing. Severely cost burdened poor households are more likely than other renters to sacrifice other necessities like healthy food and healthcare to pay the rent, and to experience unstable housing situations like evictions. That's why we have created our Quest Impact Center to address these shortcomings to help the underserved -- our goal each and everyday is to help make our community a better place by providing direction and opportunity to members of our community. #QuestLegacyHomes

In fact, Georgia has the lowest home ownership rate (61 percent) in the Southeast and one of the lowest in the United States. And in Georgia, between 2012 and 2016, roughly 1.3 million households were renters representing 37 percent of the state's population at that time. In 2019, Quest was ranked #1 in quality among all other Atlanta homeless service providers. What is Quest doing that's so unique? The answer is simple it’s in our culture.

We continue to expand to try to meet the needs of those who are often forgotten and pushed aside for corporate greed and profits. This 30,000 s.f. Service Center will house Quest's corporate office, Family Dollar, On the Rise Financial Center, Quest Financial Services, a fresh foods market, a central referral hub for community-based services, and other programs for Westside Atlanta residents. This will provide so many opportunities for our community at large. We can't wait to get the doors open to start making an even bigger impact on the well being of Atlanta residents...

We are working closely with our Federal, State and Local governing bodies to align our efforts as we continue to serve our vulnerable populations and others. Information about additional community Food, Medical and other services are being distributed to our residents on a regular basis. We are consistently assessing needs and providing support where needed.

The Quest Cares team will make weekly health and safety check-in calls on all residents and continue to conduct routine case management sessions remotely.
