RDA Engineering 12.11.2020

RDA worked with the University of Georgia Facilities Management Division to design steam and condensate line replacements to serve the Forestry Resources Complex buildings on its Athens, GA campus. RDA prepared final design construction drawings and contract documents, and provided construction administration services.

Beverly Womack attended the Annual Georgia A/E/C Mega Meeting on September 15, 2015 in Atlanta. A panel of industry experts from organizations deeply entrenched in the design and construction industry around the state were on hand to speak on the state of the market as they see it. Panelists included Marvin Woodward, Deputy Director, Construction Division, Georgia State Financing & Investment Commission; Tim Lowe, Member, Board of Governors, Georgia World Congress Center Authority; and others.

The Expo included over 170,000 sq. ft. of booths and galleries with 800 exhibiting companies representing software and technology, energy efficiency, building systems, finishes, lighting, and more.

At the recent ASHRAE Winter Conference in New York, RDA's David Wade gave a presentation entitled "District Energy Overview and Benefits," which was a part of the Seminar: Efficient Technologies That Are Also Economically Sustainable. David was one of a panel of five well known industry experts who presented this series highlighting the ability to implement many different technologies utilizing a district energy system.

The IDEA 27th Annual Campus Energy Conference was held in Atlanta, Georgia February 18-21. The conference titled "Clean, Efficient & Resilient Energy" featured discussions on how campus energy systems provide highly efficient, sustainable and reliable energy services supporting mission critical operations on college, university, healthcare campuses and military bases while also strengthening the local economy by cutting emissions and reducing strain on the regional power grid.
