RDA worked with the University of Georgia Facilities Management Division to design steam and condensate line replacements to serve the Forestry Resources Complex buildings on its Athens, GA campus. RDA prepared final design construction drawings and contract documents, and provided construction administration services.

RDA was selected by Thermal Energy Corporation (TECO) of Houston to prepare a chilled water service study reviewing the overall development plans and an evaluation of life cycle cost analyses for a portion of the Texas Medical Center campus.

David W. Wade, P.E., President of RDA, authored his final article for the International District Energy Association's publication "District Energy." For 15 years, he has shared his industry insights with readers. His final article was entitled "What Can The Future Hold for District Energy?"

Another great article authored by David W. Wade, P.E. and entitled "Why IDEA Should Export District Energy Expertise." This column is featured in the first quarter 2016 "District Energy" publication by the International District Energy Association.

Beverly Womack attended the Annual Georgia A/E/C Mega Meeting on September 15, 2015 in Atlanta. A panel of industry experts from organizations deeply entrenched in the design and construction industry around the state were on hand to speak on the state of the market as they see it. Panelists included Marvin Woodward, Deputy Director, Construction Division, Georgia State Financing & Investment Commission; Tim Lowe, Member, Board of Governors, Georgia World Congress Center Authority; and others.

"District Energy" (the publication of the International District Energy Association) features David W. Wade's "Members Speak Out" column. The 2015 second quarter article is entitled "Smart Cities: Where does district energy fit in?"

David W. Wade, P.E. and Beverly Womack attended the AIA Convention EXPO at the World Congress Center in Atlanta on May 15, 2015. The Expo included over 170,000 sq. ft. of booths and galleries with 800 exhibiting companies representing software and technology, energy efficiency, building systems, finishes, lighting, and more.

RDA participated as a sponsor at the Georgia State Facilities Administrators Spring Summit on April 21, 2015 at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center in Atlanta. David Wade represented RDA at the summit.

David W. Wade, P.E. has been a featured quarterly columnist for the International District Energy Association's "District Energy" publication for more than fifteen years. "Bringing Light to the Dark Side of District Heating" is his article in the first quarter 2015 magazine.

Beverly Womack attended the SMPS of Atlanta's January luncheon --The Higher Education Landscape: A Discussion of Trends and Issues -- on Tuesday, January 20, 2015, at the Dunwoody County Club. Panelists included campus and facilities planning representatives.

At the recent ASHRAE Winter Conference in New York, RDA's David Wade gave a presentation entitled "District Energy Overview and Benefits," which was a part of the Seminar: Efficient Technologies That Are Also Economically Sustainable. David was one of a panel of five well known industry experts who presented this series highlighting the ability to implement many different technologies utilizing a district energy system.

The IDEA 27th Annual Campus Energy Conference was held in Atlanta, Georgia February 18-21. The conference titled "Clean, Efficient & Resilient Energy" featured discussions on how campus energy systems provide highly efficient, sustainable and reliable energy services supporting mission critical operations on college, university, healthcare campuses and military bases while also strengthening the local economy by cutting emissions and reducing strain on the regional power grid.
