RECOVERY IS REAL!! Nov. 17, 2018, REBOOT Jackson began a journey to help people seeking recovery from Substance Use and Mental Health Disorders. We opened, what was once the home office of the Magistrate Judge of our local community, to those looking for a pathway. The 1st peer interaction was an individual check-in. Individual check ins grew in that home office to as many as 6-8 a week. REBOOT met with the Piedmont District Accountability Court System, and began doing grou...p check-ins once a week, with 4 of their participants. This meeting still occurs and averages 8-10 every week. We were blessed to move to a 1300 sq ft facility in March of 2019, and obtained an additional 2600 sq ft in March 2020. We now offer many peer resources, job skill trainings, veterans meetings, employment opportunities, tattoo cover-ups, transportation, housing opportunities! We started with 1! Since March, 2019: 1,715 INDIVIDUAL PEERS served 9,781 Total peer interactions 4,978 attendance in recovery support groups 1,596 Peer Check Ins 93 Peers connected with employment assistance 30 Peers connected with educational support 144 Peers transported 170 Volunteer/community service opportunities 7 Tattoo Coverups Happy 2nd birthday REBOOT Jackson #rebootit #recoveryneverstops #garecovers #gapol

What’s the best thing about national recovery month? For us it’s getting to show our support to the events put on by recovery communities around the state! Today we got to sit between two of our fellow BCOR grant recipients and mentors, LivingProof Recovery and Coweta FORCE, as we participated in the festivities of the annual 5k run put on by Navigate Recovery Gwinnett! Thanks to everyone who participated, shared their stories with us, and supported recovery in Gwinnett County today! #garecovers #rebootit
