We need some great news (can I get an amen?!?)! Thankfully, Jesus has got that COVERED! Join us as we journey through the "Our Redeemer Lives" series for kids, ages 3-8 on Sunday nights from 4-7 pm. We will tackle common questions with answers that come straight from Scripture and remind us throughout our everyday livesof God's presence, His plan, and His purpose for us in Christ. Our Redeemer Lives!! And we will practice declaring that to one another and back in praise to ...God through these four weeks! If you are interested in joining us as we ask God to boldly move in this endeavor, we are looking specifically for people to be praying during the VBS hours so they all are covered. We have other volunteer opportunities as well and for all of those, reach out to Kiara Boynton or Caroline Kolts! Sign-ups and more info at church this Sunday!

Looking at Mark 4, this past Sunday, Pastor Drew walked us through the disciples experience of Jesus asleep in the boat during the storm. May we be people who are honest about our fears and allow the power of the Lord to help us walk forward in peace! Sermon link in profile

The people of Texas are informed that, in accordance with a proclamation from the Executive of the United States, all slaves are free. This involves an absolute equality of personal rights and rights of property between former masters and slaves. On June 19, 1866, the Emancipation Proclamation was read out loud at the courthouse in Galveston, TX. According to history, the Christians gathered then progressed to Methodist Episcopal South (now Reedy Chapel AME Church) for a public prayer meeting. Looking back, we stand grateful for the men and women of faith who stood firm for justice, cried out to the Lord, and walked faithfully in obedience to him. Today, 155 years later, there is still progress to be made, but we, as a church, celebrate this important moment in our nations history!

Another Throwback! Check out these pics from the 2018 Redeemer All-Church retreat at Lake Lanier! Great memories of hanging out, worshipping, playing games, swimming, making sure none of the young kids drowned, and just enjoying being away together! We were so blessed to have the gifted Pastor Phil Duncanson from @epointchurch leading us that weekend. Looking forward to the day when we can all get away again on the next retreat!

If you find yourself anxious or worried today as you think about the election results, be proactive in taking care of yourself and remembering what is TRUE. This is going to be a long week, get some rest, read your Bibles, talk to your brother and sisters in Christ, and remember that God cares more about us than we could ever ask or imagine!

As a church, this has been our prayer each Sunday over the last 5 weeks. May we, as God's people, be guided by the Holy Spirit to "promote your (God's) glory and the welfare of this nation" through our opportunity to vote. May we, as God's people, "look not only to our own interests, but to the interests of others" (Phil 2:4) as we vote. Join us in praying for our country this week!

We're baaaaaaaaaaack! Pastor Mac and Pastor Drew are back with another episode of the "Redeemer Q's and A's" podcast! For this episode they will be tackling the very practical question of "How do we, as Christians, get along when we hold differing convictions??" The anonymous question spoke specifically to differing views on how best to respond to the Pandemic. However, we also spent some time talking about the Biblical principles that should guide us as we seek unity and lov...e, in the midst of the myriad of disagreements we may have in the body of Christ. As always, feel free to keep sending in questions! https://redeemeratl.sermon.net/Red/redeemerqsandas/21682822
