This is how I got started with our lavender farm. It was a dream to grow lavender in Georgia against all odds against us, since lavender is not meant to grow here. I met Jon during a teachers pre-conference.

Distilling pure lavender essential oil right from the lavender plant. It’s a long process and a lot of lavender to get some oil. I’ve been at it for days and still have tomorrow to go. www.RedOakLavender.com

Tonight’s check on the gardens. Spanish (Stoechas) Lavender is beginning to bloom again and we haven’t harvested all the tall full Intermedia (Grosso and Provence) lavenders yet. The sunflowers are still in bloom and the other flowers look amazing! And my heart is full because my foxgloves I grew from seed are in bloom. Wow! Thank you to all who have visited. We are so blessed to all whom have came to our little farm and saw it’s miracle. Thank you!
