Located in the same building the refreshment stand and projection booth at the Bankhead Drive-In from the early 1950's! Image is from a 1950-51 Theatre Catalog.
For those of you who remember the Bankhead Drive-In that was located on Bankhead Hwy you might also remember the Fulton Blvd Drive-In that was just down the road on Fulton Ind Blvd...Enjoy!!!
Hello everyone!!! If you remember the Bankhead Drive-In then you probably remember this drive-in as well! Here's a Facebook site totally dedicated to the old Fulton Blvd Drive-In Theatre that was located on Fulton Industrial Blvd! Enjoy!!! :-)

Hello and glad everyone is enjoying the site! I'm currently looking for more images of the Bankhead Drive-In! If anyone out there has any vintage pics whether they be from old high school yearbooks or other pics please feel free to post them in the fan photos section! Thanks and enjoy the site!!!
Does anybody out there remember the Bankhead Drive-In's fold out marquee that sat on the corner of Fulton Ind and Bankhead Hwy? I remember it. It was cool looking! It was made of brick and it had BANKHEAD going across the top in red neon letters. The part of the marquee that showed what movie was playing had a yellow background. Does anyone else out there remember this sign?
There was another drive-in theatre that was located on Bankhead Hwy as well! The Lithia Drive-In was located further down Bankhead Hwy in Lithia Springs, GA. I've started up a Facebook fansite page for that theatre also! The Facebook page is called "Memories Of The Lithia Drive-In". Includes old pics of the marquee, the screen, and other parts of the drive-in from back in the day! Check it out and enjoy!!!
Those of you who remember the Bankhead Drive-In probably remember the Fulton Blvd Drive-In as well! The Fulton Blvd Drive-In was located on Fulton Industrial Blvd just down the road from the Bankhead. I've just recently uplinked a Facebook fansite dedicated to that drive-in as well! It's called "Looking Back At The Fulton Blvd Drive-In". Check it out and enjoy!!!
Hey everybody I'm looking for more photos of the Bankhead Drive-In for the site here! If anyone out there has any personal photos of this place, or mayby some old high school yearbooks with images of the Bankhead Drive-In please scan them off and submit on the fan photos section of this site! My mom tells me that her and my dad went to the Bankhead Drive-In back in the 50's! I'm sure it was a hot spot during that time era!!!
The Bankhead Drive-In had a really neat and fancy screen tower! The back of the screen tower had the name running along it in neon with a house that was built inside the screen! Share your memories here on the wall and enjoy the old pics as well!!!
