Our page and web site are all about product reviews, sometimes those reviews are good and sometimes the reviews are bad, either way, they are honest reviews of how parts work in the real world. There were some major issues with the 6.4 Powerstroke radiators from the factory, so when Mishimoto introduced an all aluminum replacement, many diesel shops and enthusiasts jumped on them, hoping and thinking this would be the end all fix all for 6.4 radiator failures. After hundreds ...of units were sold and installed, we in the diesel industry started seeing more and more of the Mishimoto Version 1 radiators cracking and failing in the same spot as the plastic factory radiators. Now some manufacturers would try sweeping something like this under the rug. Mishimoto took the high road though, the reached out to these shops and figured out a real solution to the problem at hand. The #cleandiesel movement is something I am happy to see happening. Diesel truck enthusiasts got bombarded this summer by the big media companies, due to people posting countless #coalrolling videos and pictures on social media. As a part of the clean diesel movement I have been getting a lot of phone calls regarding parts that will help customers clean up their otherwise smokey trucks. If you have a diesel truck that is billowing a lot of black smoke, what you are seeing i...s un-burnt fuel. This can either be caused by a very aggressive tune, or a power setup like, too big of an injector with too small or too large of a turbo. If you are just running a tuner or programmer and you are seeing a lot of black smoke, simple upgrades like a larger aftermarket intercooler, upgraded exhaust manifold or a free flowing exhaust can help to clear up the smoke. A diesel engine is a big air pump, more air in and more air out are going to help you a lot. If you have more questions about this, hit me up. I would love to get you answers.

Today I am doing a quick review of a part I get called every single day about. "Can I get a tuner for my 2015 Ford 6.7?" The answer is yes, there are several tuners available on the market, as a performance shop we like to stay on top of the latest greatest go fast goodies. ... So we went out and got ourselves a 2015 F350 Dually. We drove it around stock for a couple of weeks to get a good feel for the truck. Then we purchased all the tuners/programmers available on the market. We installed each one and ran them for 1000 miles, towing and daily driving. Our conclusion as to which programmer was the best is based on fuel economy, power, and towing performance. Hands down, the best programmer we installed and ended up leaving in the truck, was the Edge Evolution. Other than the programmer the truck is completely stock. Horse power gain on the highest setting was right at 100 additional. http://leadfootdiesel.com//85200-edge-products-evolution-c
