Current Update Over the course of the last five weeks, we have been working with the three Care Management Organizations for the State of Georgia's dental program (WellCare, PeachCare and Georgia Medicaid). There was significant legal paperwork that had to be completed before I could continue to see their members at a new location. I have been told that this process should be completed within the next week. If all goes as hoped, we will begin to start calling patients to set up appointments. I know that many of you have been waiting for these phone calls, and that some have been having significant problems with their teeth and braces. I am humbled by the hundreds of patients that have called and left their name at the Donalsonville office. We will make every effort to make this transition as smooth as possible. Robert M. Current Update Previously we posted about the fire we had at our office on September 2nd. Since the fire damaged our phone and computer systems, FaceBook has been the only way for us to communicate with our patients. Since our last post, we have agreed to join the practice of Dr. Mike Carr in Donalsonville, Ga. (Southwest Georgia Dental Associates). With all the paperwork required, this transition could take up to 4 weeks to complete. During this time you can call 229.524.577...2. They will place your name on a list. When the paperwork is completed, we will begin calling and making appointments for patients. We are extremely grateful to Dr. Carr for giving us the opportunity to practice Dentistry in our local area. Current Update Previously we posted that there had been a fire at our dental office earlier this month. Our phone system and computers were damaged, so we were unable to contact our patients. Over the last two weeks, I have been searching to find another location to Practice Dentistry. I am pleased to announce that we have found a NEW location. There is significant paperwork involved in this process and we will begin this process Tomorrow. I anticipate that this transition wi...ll take around 5 weeks to complete. Current Update Many people have tried to contact us during this time to find out what is happening, what they can do for their children in braces and to make an appointment. Our phone system is damaged beyond repair and my automatic texting system is not designed for an event such as this. I am in the process of trying to find another office to continue working. On Saturday September 2nd our Dental office caught on fire, no one was hurt but the office will be closed until further notice.
