Happy Valentine's Day. Last night, the RFMTF made sure four people attended their Valentine's Day reservation at Hotel 53. On Feb 13th, 2020 Rome/Floyd Metro Task Force executed a search warrant at 2531 Shorter Ave against David Michael Brock following numerous complaints that Brock was selling quantities of methamphetamine. Four peop...le were arrested at that location after RFMTF K-9 Ash alerted to approximately 755g of methamphetamine which was located throughout the residence. K-9 Ash also assisted in recovering marijuana found in the residence. David Michael Brock of Rome, Tracy Lynn Brock of Rome, Peggy Sue Tillman of Calhoun, and Gerald Edward Pointer of Fairmount were all arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute, Trafficking Methamphetamine, Possession of A Schedule II Narcotic (morphine), Possession of Marijuana Less than 1oz, and Possession of Drug Related Objects. Your citizen complaints helped us continue this investigation and with that, we were able to remove approximately 1.66lbs of methamphetamine from circulation and put four suspects in jail.
