Today we played "Night in the museum " its basically the "night watchman " the person who counted, walks around the "museum" to see if any of the statues move. If he sees you move, your out! For what ever reason our status posed this way. I thought it was hilarious and adorable. We had so much fun! Art Adventures Rocks!

Born on this day in 1859 Artist George-Pierre Seurat, French Post- Impressionist was the developer of a very scientific way of painting known as Pointillism. He used tiny dots of pure color, side by side to build form in his paintings. These tiny dots of paint, when side by side, give the viewer's eye a chance to blend the color optically. This was also known as divisionism. Our Art Adventures artists really enjoyed this project, and continually expressed their enthusiasm and how proud they felt of their finished work. Today we had so much fun as we learned about Megan Coyle an American collage artist who was born in Northern Virginia. She is known for making representational collages entirely from magazine strips. We explored landscapes and ocean scape collages. Art Adventures Rocks!
