The #171Project is coming out of the ground! Chris and his crew are framing this one as we are going to be completing this project in phases. The barn will go up first as we wait on the greenhouse package to come in. We will prep the area now and remobilize once that comes in. ETA is almost 5-6 months stay tuned! Building pad is laid out for the #209Project ! We have stakes marking the building corners. The surveyor is going to make one last visit to ensure we are lined up correctly and then we will start pouring concrete! Hoping for some better weather than what’s forecasted!

Is #tbt still a thing? Check out this photo of a sanctuary we remodeled a couple years ago. We love jobs like these where the clients value intricate mouldings and detailed finishes!

Entering the final stages of our #LakeshoreProject . Finishing up the steel cable handrails and some electrical work to run power to some fans for the pergola. When we get some warmer consistent weather we will clean and seal all of the IPE . Stay tuned!

Took a brief hiatus from this job over the holidays, but we are back out at the #golfview project detailing the windows. We are sanding the sashes back to bare wood, removing window trim to prep for reinstall of @durationmouldingandmillwork and paint with @finepaintsofeurope . Stay tuned!

Natural Light This was an Architect driven whole home remodel we completed about 5 years ago. One of our favorite transformations is this living room that was dark and felt very small. We were able to transform it into a beautiful functional space with natural light that doesn’t just flood this area, but spreads to other rooms in the house. @pellawindows

A quick glimpse of a custom gun rack being fabricated in our millwork shop for one of our clients. Our in-house craftsmen fabricating finished pieces like this is invaluable to our success. Whether it’s a custom door, structural brackets or a gun rack, we are able to complete these critical details with better communication with our team to execute precise and high level finishes. Having in-house craftsman allows us to not be as dependent on other companies always changing schedules. This helps separate us from other custom builders who rely solely on subcontracted work.

Adding a copper flashing detail at #lakeshoreproject . Its small pieces like this that make the whole project look beautiful and increase the life of the deck. Cedar pergola columns are getting started today! Stay tuned!

Before and After The #504reno was a kitchen transformation that took in a former 3 seasons room. This doubled the size of the kitchen and opened up the floor plan for entertaining! Every remodel comes with its fair share of challenges and this one was no exception, but the final result makes it all worth it. Photo: @annahowardstudios

Floor tile is going in at our #RanchRebuild project. We are using the Schluter Ditra Uncoupling Membrane to prepare our wood substrate for tile. The uncoupling membrane is important because it allows the subfloor to move independently of the tile install and can provide relief between the two materials (tile and subfloor). This is different than a typical cement board underlayment that is more rigid and can transfer the movement. This movement of the subfloor (wood or concrete) can cause unsightly cracks in the tile and grout.

IPE decking is wrapping up at our #LakeshoreProject ! We are moving into the last boards that will be scribed to the stone foundation of the home. The steps and cedar pergola are next! Stay tuned!

Check out the finished #boathouseproject . We really enjoyed the opportunity to build this retreat for our client. It was an extremely fun and challenging project. Can’t wait to do more fun and interesting jobs like this one in the future!

Floors are stained and we are starting tile in the bathrooms and laundry room! The cedar beam is fabricated off-site and is ready for stain. Cabinetry is on the way and will be installed soon. Stay tuned for more progress!

Starting the re-paint of this home. We are calling this one the #golfview project. We painted this home last year, but experienced paint failures due to a combination of several items. After some exploratory work, we found that the existing trim was not back primed. That in addition to the trim materials, the dark color of the paint and the existing paint job created several issues and the new coat of paint ended up blistering. After reaching out to several industry leaders @finepaintsofeurope and @zkpainting we believe we have come up with a solution to give this home the paint job it deserves. Stay tuned as we correct this issue and keep y’all updated on the process!

More progress on the #RanchRebuild . Working on trim details before we prime and one coat the walls. Stay tuned for more updates!

Ship lap install has begun on the ceiling at our #RanchRebuild as we transition into our finish trim stage of this project. New windows and doors are going in next. Stay tuned for more progress!

Prep for finish trim. #RanchRebuild Our oak hardwood flooring is installed. The Trim package is on site and acclimating, doors are onsite and our @pellawindows package is delivered. We are currently edge sanding around the perimeter to prep for base. Stay tuned for more updates.
