So this might be the first in all of R. Thomas 36 year history serving Atlanta apparently the international CBD convention which is the largest in the world came to the World Congress Center in Atlanta, that along with everybody feeling the freedom of Covid and not wanting to be shut in anymore gave us a record sales for Friday and Saturday of this week. Our normal Sunday brunch is quite fun place to be but today we sold out of absolutely everything we have from the French to...ast to the chicken wings to the Thai express bowl.. we saved enough food to feed the birds and had to close early for a Sunday brunch. Which Gave our staff a much needed break a Sunday afternoon off with their family. We are closed on Mondays but will be back in full force with our world renowned fresh food on Tuesday. On the night of Tuesday September 29th the R Thomas family received devastating news that our long time manager Scott had lost his husband unexpectedly. His beloved Sheridan was tragically struck by a car and killed while walking his dog late in the evening. We are asking for some financial help to cover funeral expenses and basic living needs during this time of tragedy. Please consider donating to help our friend Scott. One of my Managers at R. Thomas Deluxe Grill, tragically lost his spouse to a car accident last night. Sheridan was walking there sweet dog and a car struck an...d killed Sheridan on the spot. The dog made it home with his leash on. Such a tragedy for all concerned a sudden loss is horrific and Scott has been one of our shinning stars through the Covid shut downs. Please if you can search your hearts and help give to this cause. Scott R. Layman, has been at Sheridan's side through the whole pandemic having to take off work on multiple days to provide support for his beloved spouse. sending many heartfelt prayers his way. See more
