The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods (Psalm 24:1-2). It's Already Getting Better, It's Already Getting Easier, God's Already Moving On Your Behalf... He Did It For Me. The message today was delivered by Rev. Maggie McDonald. Text: 2 Timothy 4:7-8. Focus Verse 7. "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. Subject: F...ight To The Finish. Highlights: 1. A powerful introductory statement: Christians are in a fight not because we have done anything wrong but what we are doing right. 2. Thou we suffer we must stay in the fight. 3. You cannot be identified by folk but who you are in Christ. 4. Put on the whole armor, because putting on part of it leaves you unprotected. 5. What is your weapon of choice? (a) Your Praise (b) The word of God, are two great choices. 6. Oftentimes in this fight you will have to stand on your own. You have to know God for yourself. 7. No matter the obstacle, God will give you the power to fight the good fight. Stay in the fight for the long haul. 8. To fight the good fight you must have faith. Don't let your past affect your faith. Faith will make you fight on. 9. Fight to the finish and receive your reward. 10. Stay on your course. Don't look at someone else's course and become distracted. Don't covet others course, become envious. You can fight fair and still have the victory, even when the enemy is fighting dirty. Fight To The Finish!! Wonderful word Rev. McDonald. Praise The Lord!! Pastor Slaughter

Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the Lord, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the Lord, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea. The Lord is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt him (Exodus 15:1-2). Glory, Glory Hallelujah since I laid my burdens down... Lord I Just Want To Thank You. The message today w...as taken from quite possibly the most readily recognized passage of scripture in the Bible, Psalm 23. Subject: The Lord God Is... The 23rd Psalm expresses as simply and clearly as any the role of God as our protector and provider of life. David wrote this Psalm because he wanted people of faith to understand that the Lord is always present for his devout ones and that it is humans themselves who isolate God from their lives. The Lord God Is... 1. God is eternal, He has no beginning and His existence will never end. 2. God is just, He is no respecter of persons in the sense of showing favoritism. 3. God is one, there is no other. 4. God is sovereign, meaning He is supreme. 5. God is holy, separated from all moral defilement and hostile toward it. God sees all evil and it angers Him. Highlights: 1. Verse 1. David's complete confidence in God means there is no crisis of faith or doubt. 2. Verse 2. The stillness of the waters indicates that there are no storms or winds to disturb the peace that God provides. 3. Verse 3. Restore means to receive back more than has been lost to the point where the final state is greater than the original condition. 4. Verse 4. God provides absolute trust even in dangerous environments. 5. Verse 5. Simply stated this verse means that God will supply blessings in the presence of danger. 6. Verse 6. Surely!! Without a shadow of doubt. Goodness and Mercy... Praise the Lord!!! Pastor Slaughter

Unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul. O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me. Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause. Shew me thy ways, O Lord; teach me thy paths (Psalm 25:1-4). Happy Father's Day to one and all!! Hold Onto God's Unchanging Hand... The message today was taken from 2 Samuel 7, verses 12-16. Focus verse 14. "I will be his father, and he shall be my son. I...f he commit iniquity, I will chastened him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children on men." Subject: A Father's Love. A father is a man in relation to his natural child or children. The family structure that is ordained by God includes the basic unit of father, mother, child or children. The father has certain responsibilities inherent with fatherhood. 1. Responsibility to God: Responsibility to God is commensurate to a duty to God. Duty to God means he has a duty to family because God requires that of him. 2. Responsibility Begins Early: A man's responsibility to his family begins before he even has a family. 3. Responsibility In Marriage: The man is the head. Being the head means he must develop and demonstrate love, sacrifice, loyalty, and faithfulness. 4. Responsibility To Provide: The provision the father is to provide includes food, shelter, clothing, medicine, and protection. Highlights: 2 Samuel 7:12-16. 1. Verses 12-13. God the Father, assisted David the Father. 2. Verse 14. Oftentimes we need to allow God to be responsible for our children. Turn the over to the Lord. 3. Verse 15. God's mercy is everlasting. 4. Once God has established you, and you have accepted His will, no weapon that is formed against you will be able to stand or prosper. A Father's Love... Praise the Lord!!! Pastor Slaughter

Ruach Ministries Worship Service January 3, 2021 1st Chronicles 4:9-10 Praying In The Midst Of Sorrow

Ruach Ministries 26.12.2020

He hath made everything beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end (Ecclesiastics 3:11). Happy New Year from the Ruach Ministries Family!! The message for today was taken from the book of 1st Chronicles, the 4th chapter, verses 9-10. Focus verse 9. "And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him in sorrow...." Subject: Praying In The Midst Of Sorrow. The books of Chronicles became separated into two books by the translators of the Greek version of the Old Testament and were given a title meaning "Things Left Behind". The Hebrew title, "Daily Matters," is akin to the English title of "Chronicles". Things Left Behind and Daily Matters is a great take off point for the year 2021. Things To Leave Behind: (1) Spiritual Inconsistency; (2) Spiritual Negligence; (3) Split Loyalties. Daily Matters: (1) Thankfulness/Gratitude; (2) Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread, daily provisions; (3) Daily Choose Faith Over Fear. Highlights: The Prayer of Jabez contains an urgent request for four things: 1. God' s Blessing ad he asks God for His Grace. 2. An expansion of territory. Jabez prays for victory and prosperity in all his endeavors. 3. The presence of God's hand. He prays for the guidance of God and His strength to be evident in his daily existence. 4. Protection from harm. Praise the Lord!!! Pastor Slaughter

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord which made heaven and earth (Psalm 121:1-2). The Ruach Ministries Family is thankful for all that the Lord has done during this tumultuous year of 2020. Through it all Father God and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has shown Himself faithful. We give Him glory, honor, and praise. We look forward to what He has in store for His people. Yes Lord, my soul says Yes... The message to...day was taken from the gospel of Matthew, the 6th chapter, verses 25-34. Focus verse 25 "Therefore I say unto you. Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Subject: I've Got Nothing To Worry About. The Bible clearly teaches that Christians are not to worry. In Philippians 4:6, we are commanded, "Do not be anxious (do not worry) about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." Worry means to give way to anxiety or unease; to allow one's mind to dwell on difficulty or trouble. Scripture indicates that such anxiety and unease is ultimately grounded in a lack of trust in God and His purposes. Worry is futile... The causes of worry: (1) Being world centered (2) Lacking confidence in God (3) Abandoning God. Remedies for worry: (1) Being God-centered (2) Prayer. Highlights: I've Got Nothing To Worry About because I've Learned To Trust God: 1. When we trust God, we seek to do good. Psalm 34:8 2. When we trust God, we commit our lives to Him. Psalm 37:5 3. When we trust God, we delight in Him. Psalm 37:4 4. When we trust God, we exercise a patient spirit. Romans 5:3-5 I've Got Nothing To Worry About... Praise the Lord!!! Pastor Slaughter

And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn (Luke 2:7). The Ruach Ministries Family would like to wish one and all a very Merry Christmas. Stay safe and God Bless!! The message for today was taken from the gospel of Matthew, the 1st chapter, verses 18-25. Focus verse 23 "Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emman...uel, which being interpreted is, God with us. " Subject: That's Just Who He Is... Matthew the 1st chapter is the book of generations. By tracing Jesus' ancestry back to King David, through the line of the Davidic Kings, Matthew connects Jesus with His royal heritage. The genealogy in Matthew is that of Joseph, Jesus' legal father, whereas the genealogy of Luke 3:23-28 is that of Mary, His actual parent, showing His bloodline back to David. The author's purpose is to show that the messianic promises made to David's line are fulfilled in Jesus. Son of Abraham: Jesus is also the fulfillment of the covenant promises to Abraham, the forefather of the Jews. Highlights: 1. Verses 18-19. Joseph was a just man meaning he behaved according to what is morally right and fair. God is absolutely just in his dealings with his people. 2. Verse 20. Joseph exhibited Trust, Faith, and Belief. He relied on these three truths to make the right decision. Additionally he reaffirmed his relationship with the Father. 3. Verse 21. Purpose... 4. Verses 22-25. Purpose fulfilled. Will we, the household of faith allow God's will to be fulfilled in our lives even when we don't understand, have questions, are unsure. Jesus, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. That's Just Who He Is... Praise the Lord!! Pastor Slaughter
