The 1st meeting of 2021 for the Rugged Cross Riders CMA 981 will be this coming Monday, January 18 at the Dari-Dip in Lafayette. Dinner is at 6PM and Meeting is at 7PM. Hope to see everyone.

"Getting Back to God" 01/10/20 Rainman's notes from this morning's message,, "Getting Back to God" from the Word of God, 2 Chronicles 6:41-42, 7:11-16 ~God often calls us to do things during difficult times. ~The present time is exactly a time such as that.... ~The storms taking place are not a surprise to God. He knows all things. He is well aware of the struggles, trouble, and trials taking place. Jesus is the way to push through the darkness of the world. ~As believers, trusting that God is in control, allowing Him to guide and direct us, we can bring light into the darkness of a lost and dying world. ~Through prayer, fasting, and study of the Word of God, we can receive from Him, and bring change to the world. ~We need to be inspired by God, not the darkness of the world around us. ~Just to know that God surrounds us with His presence is enough to push us through all that life brings our way. ~Only by allowing God to operate and work through us, guiding and directing us, can we truly be genuine and true in our relationship with Jesus and others. ~The world is looking for a savior. Someone to bring joy and happiness. Someone to bring change. People are hungry to see the power of Christ. We are living in a time where people must see the power and glory of God to believe. ~God calls for us to come to Him in an attitude of prayer, turning from our wicked and evil ways, the ways of the world that we have taken on, and in turn He will heal the land. ~The Church, the body of Christ, is not going down or going under. But, we must rise up and stand against the attack of the enemy. ~We must take on the characteristics of God and operate in the ways of Jesus Christ. ~We must love one another. However, we must hold ourselves accountable, maintaining our integrity and responsibility of living as one who believes in God and has faith in Jesus Christ. ~We must be unwavering in our belief that we are nothing without the Holy Spirit guiding us in the ways of Christ. ~We must come to God each day, asking forgiveness for our shortfalls, asking Him to show us our areas of weakness. ~"When in Rome, do as the Romans do", cannot be a motto of one living as a follower of Christ. We must do as Jesus does, no matter where we are. ~In order to get back to God and return to the path He has put before us, we must pray, fast, and study His Word. We must allow Him to fill us with the Holy Spirit, so that He can guide us and direct us in the ways of Jesus Christ. ~We must humble ourselves and kneel before God, so that we can stand, proclaiming His glory, mercy, and grace before men. "O for the Touch" 01/03/20 Rainman's notes from this morning's message, "Old for the Touch" from the Word of God, Matthew 11:28-30 ~How often to you get into the presence of God, but turn away before He can truly touch you?... ~How often do you allow His presence to make you feel good, but turn away before He can bring a change in your life? ~How often do you choose to stay same old, same old, and not allow God to guide and direct you to a greater life? ~Jesus Christ wants to make changes in your life today. He wants to bless you to the fullest. ~The Word of God says we are to come boldly before His throne. All the power of the Lord God Almighty is available to each and every one of us if we truly believe in Him and trust in Him. ~The devil wants us to believe that God doesn't care, or doesn't even exist. He wants us to think that only the world knows what's best. ~God shows us time and time again that it is He that knows what is best for us. Jesus Christ wants us to depend on Him and His guidance to the path of righteousness. ~In today's world it seems that there is no way that God can do anything for you, that we are so far gone that He is meaningless. ~Even if we are at our lowest, a point of great desperation, God is able to reach down, touch us, and deliver us from any and all forms of bondage and fear. ~There are so many things in our lives that are out of our control, but nothing is beyond the control of God Almighty. He is in control of all situations and circumstances life brings our way. ~Jesus Christ will bring peace and healing to any and every trouble, trial, hurdle, or storm that we may ever experience. ~The touch of Jesus is the only way to truly bring change into our lives. ~Are you willing to prepare, plan, and step out in faith so that Jesus Christ can reach out, touch you, and experience the change the He can bring to your life? ~Are you willing to surrender your life to God and allow Him to control your path? Are you ready to give up those areas of your life that are holding you back from receiving the full touch of God? ~Don't allow yourself to get caught halfway. ~Push on through. ~Seek the face of God. ~Pray. ~Study His Word. ~Surrender your life to Jesus Christ, the King of kings and the Lord of lords. ~Allow God to touch you and make changes in your life. ~Allow God to have complete control over your life, guiding and directing you throughout your life.
