Food Server Needed: we are open 7 days a week, 7:00AM - 2:30 PM, 2 week training period, experience required. Come by and pick up an application from the cashier. Need to start immediately.

Beginning March 1st we will start opening at 7AM instead of 8 come on in and get some grits!

We have decided to open 7 days a week, so will be open tomorrow and Monday’s going forward. We have shortened our hours for the near future so will be open from 08:00am til 02:30 pm each day. We are set up for inside dining but can only seat 22 people at a time to stay within Gov. Kemp’s COVID-19 guidelines. So even though it may appear that we have open tables, we may not be able to seat you because we are capacity. Ugh!!! However, we have obtained a temporary permiss...ion to set up tables outside. So, we have set up an outside dining area for takeout orders only. That way, if inside dining is full, you can still eat your meal fresh off the grill. Everything outside has to be in takeout containers. So plastic ware and styrofoam will be the norm for outside diners. You can opt to eat outside at any time but you must come in to the counter to place your order. See more

Looking for a dependable, experienced line cook for small 'Mom & Pop' type country cooking restaurant. We do not use a POS system, everything is written by hand. Would need to memorize our abbreviations and codes on tickets. Experience on a flat top is preferred but not necessary. Breakfasts experience would be a big plus.

RUTH’S WILL BE OPEN FOR DINE-IN AND TAKE OUT STARTING THIS FRIDAY!!! MAY 8TH. We will be open from 8AM TO 2:30PM. Extra care for sanitizing will be used to keep everyone safe. All staff will wear masks and there will be plastic around the cashier. We use a RTU sanitizer that is on the CDC’s approved list. We are trying to figure out if we can set up some outside tables in the front also. Hope to see you all on Friday! Tell your friends We have missed you all!!

We know you are all wondering if we will re-open on Monday. Unfortunately we are going to stay closed due to the guidelines that are in place for restaurants. Not sure how we can do inside dining and remain 6 feet apart and if we can only have 10 people inside then we can’t make enough money to break even. We will reopen when we feel it is safe to maintain a healthy environment for our valued customers and employees. We miss all of you and can’t wait to see you all again soon. Thank you to all the folks who have shown an interest in working for Ruth’s Family Restaurant. Unfortunately, due to the current crisis, we have suspended interviews and hiring. We will contact folks after things get back to some sort of normal and positions open up.

WE ARE OPEN FOR TAKE OUT !!

We are happy to let you know that we will be open for takeout orders on Tuesday, March 31 at 6 AM. Call our regular number 706-863-5616 or if it is busy you can also call 706-321-9111 or a third number you can call is 706-251-5058 to place your order starting Tuesday, March 31 at 6 AM. You can come to the parking lot and we will call your cell phone when the order is ready and then you can come inside and pick up your food order. We can have up to 10 people inside waiting for a food order and there’s plenty of space for everybody to honor the 6 foot room so you can still come inside and look at the special to-go menu. It is with a sad heart that I have to tell you guys that as of today Ruth's will be closed until Tuesday March 31st at 6 AM. Come and see us then and gets some grits! We will miss seeing you guys everyday.

We have so many customers that depend on us for a hot meal we are staying open until we are mandated to close. We are taking to-go orders by phone and you can come in and place your order, wait in your car and we will send you a text when your food is ready. Stay safe and sanitized!!
