Congratulations to Residential Services Director Dr. Lee Brinkley Bryan, who was honored Monday at the Little White House on the 76th anniversary of President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s passing. The Little White House, which is a part of the Department of Natural Resources, recognized Dr. Brinkley Bryan for exemplifying the spirit of public service and courage so central to President Roosevelt’s legacy. Update about Roosevelt Warm Springs Reopening Plan: As the situation surrounding COVID-19 continues to unfold, Roosevelt Warm Springs staff are developing plans... for students to return to campus, though specific reopening dates have yet to be established. The safety of our students and staff is the most important thing, and while we’re looking forward to when we can welcome students back on campus, we want to make sure it’s done safely. We also understand that our clients have goals, and we’re still committed to help them achieve those goals. Since April, RWS has offered distance learning opportunities for students, and nearly 100 students have already taken advantage. If you’d like to learn more about classes that can be taken remotely, please email Vergena Ogletree at [email protected] or Theresa Williams at [email protected]. As we know more in the coming days and weeks about a return to campus, we’ll make sure to share it with all of you. Thank you for your patience during this time.
