I love Cancer Support Community - Atlanta soooo much because not only do they put out great educational programs featuring some of the best physicians I am lucky to know, they also have amazing support programs for cancer patients in survivors. There are three important things women can do to protect themselves from breast cancer, according to Dr. Ryland Gore, breast surgical oncologist with North Atla...nta Breast Care. You have to start your screenings at 40, Dr. Gore says. Know your personal riskhave these conversations with your family, ask them who in the family had cancer. Her final recommendation is to know yourselfbreast self-examination is important to help notice new changes or abnormalities in your body. #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth
