GA Affordable Housing News: The Housing Authority of Columbus was awarded a national affordable housing accreditation by the Affordable housing Accreditation Board, making them the eighth in the country to receive the accreditation.

The Novogradac Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Working Group submitted a letter to the IRS that offers solutions to three concerns with proposed U.S. Treasury regulations regarding the LIHTC average-income set-aside.

SC Housing announced that they will hold a virtual 2021 9% Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) Application Workshop on Tuesday, January 19th from 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm (ET) via Webex.

HUD's Office of Multifamily Housing released an updated COVID-19 Q&A Guidance. The guidance addresses the recent extension of the CDC's Eviction Moratorium Order and supplements the HHS & CDC Temporary Halt in Residential Eviction to Prevent the Further Spread of COVID-19 guidance (updated December 31, 2020).

HUD's Office of Housing published a Notice of Funding Opportunity for FY 2020 Section 202 Supportive Housing for the Elderly. HUD is providing approximately $ 150 million in funding through Capital Advance funding and project rental subsidies and expects to make approximately 45 awards from the funds available.
