Tropical Storm Elsa Impacts: Here is the latest on Tropical Storm Elsa as of 6 AM today (Tuesday, July 6). The forecast track continues to show a north Flori...da landfall Wednesday morning, then a northeastward track over southeast/coastal Georgia. The latest information continues to indicate relatively limited impacts to north and central Georgia. Highest rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are still possible for far east central Georgia (see Flooding Rain Threat image below). Wind gusts of 20 to 30 mph are possible in this same area. These forecasts can change rapidly, so check your local weather frequently, have your Ready Kit prepared, and know what to do in an emergency!
