Mother's Day was a little happier for this family who was able to celebrate - together - for the first time in nearly a year. Bride Brook Health & Rehabilitation Center resident Dorothy Moreau, who turns 103 this summer, survived COVID-19 and also lived through the 1918 flu pandemic. For the past year, she's only been able to visit with her family via video chats and phone calls, so this Mother's Day was extra special. Dorothy and her family enjoyed an afternoon of sunshine..., her favorite chocolates and, most importantly, hugs and smiles. "There's a lot of happiness here today," said Weekend Supervisor Joe Roman. Winchester Lodge is pleased to announce that Deborah Miller has joined the team as the Life Engagement Unit Coordinator. Deborah has dedicated her 10+-year career to providing quality care for her patients and residents and has held several positions within the center.
