Sandy Cross Community Volunteer Fire Department

The Sandy Cross Community Volunteer Fire Department will be at the intersection of Sandy Cross Road and Lexington Carlton Road today from around 9am until lunch selling tickets for our upcoming BBQ and Grill Raffle. If you would like to purchase tickets come on by and see us. We will also be taking any donations if you do not want to purchase tickets.

This is the grill we will be raffling off on May 19th, 2018. The grill was donated by Southern Metal Art a small business located in the Sandy Cross Community i...n Oglethorpe County. The grill is 3 feet wide by 2 feet deep. The grill features a charcoal rack that is adjustable by turning a handle to help you control the heat. It has vents on the top and bottom to also allow you to control heat. The grill also features a rolling cart for ease of movement and a rack for storage. The cooking rack slides out allowing you to access your grilling items with ease. Tickets will be $20 a piece and only 300 tickets will be sold. ATTENTION! As mentioned in our previous post we have explored fundraisers to assist with the funding of the fire department. We will be participating in a county wide fundraiser for the fire departments. This joint fundraiser will be used to help fund the needs of the fire departments. This raffle will be for the chance to win one of four guns. The tickets are $20.00 a piece. The drawing will be held on December 16th. Get your tickets while we have them!
