What a crazy 3 days! Y’all have really been ready to celebrate, as is evidenced by the fact that in just 3 days, we’ve done an entire season’s worth of business! Still a few trees left in this year’s stock, but they are not likely to last through the week. Today could be the last weekend day that we are open, so if you’re wanting to purchase from Santa Land, consider coming today. Freshly dipped peanut butter balls- come and get ‘em! After another record day of sales, we’ve done our best to replenish the stock of crafts and snacks! We are planning to be open today and tomorrow (Sat and Sun) from 10-6. Be mindful of the weather, though, as it looks like rain is in the forecast for tomorrow. Our supply of big and perfect trees has dwindled down to next to nothing. If you’re looking for a not so perfect, typical 2020 tree, though, we’ve likely got you covered. Also have a good selection of trees under 7 feet.

It’s been a busy weekend at Santa Land! Barn is decorated, wreaths are complete, greenery is trimmed. All that’s left is the baking. Can’t wait to start the season with y’all on Thursday. Note: slight change to our hours. We will close a little early this Friday at 5:00! Our Ben is a senior football player at LaFayette, and his team has made the playoffs. We just can’t miss an opportunity to see that- GOOOOO RAMBLERS!!

-Santa Land is happy to offer early morning appointments for any customer concerned about social distancing. -Saws and cane poles will be sanitized between customers -Food items will be individually wrapped -Masks are encouraged while inside the barn -Trucks or trailers for tree transport (as opposed to our tying trees atop cars or SUVs) are encouraged to minimize contact with staff and other customers

Santa Land Christmas trees are all trimmed and ready for the 2020 season. The countdown begins as we open one month from today (Thanksgiving Day). Continue to follow us for more details, but here are the basics: -Hundreds of 5 to 9 foot cypress trees available in our choose and cut fields. -Same low price ($7-8/foot depending on height) -NO FRASER FIRS (sorry to our fir lovers) -Early morning appointments available for anyone wishing to have guaranteed social distancing... Due to supply depletion, Santa Land will remain open only on Thursday and Friday (12/05 and 12/06) from 3-6PM. We will be available on Saturday (12/07) strictly for trees that have been previously reserved.

Such a busy holiday weekend so far! Even the dog is exhausted! We only have a handful of trees over 6 feet left, and those under 6 are dwindling down as well. We are open today from 10-6, but closed tomorrow. Will keep inventory updates posted.

Don’t forget your local tree farmers on Small Business Saturday. Santa Land has sold a lot of trees the last couple of days! Only one tree remains over 10 feet, but we do still have a decent selection of 5-8 footers. No Fraser firs. Cash or check only. $7/foot.

Lots of trees went out yesterday, along with crafts and goodies! We did some replenished last night, and made this super cute pallet tree, along with more baked goods and peanut butter balls. I suspect this tree will go fast, but we do have the materials to make more like it. Message me if you need one! Open the remainder of the weekend 10-6!

We got the barn tree up today, and she’s a beauty! Can’t wait to finish decorating this weekend. Reminders: -We open Thanksgiving Day -Cash or check only (no phone line or cell service for cards- sorry.) -NO FRASER FIRS this year. Hopefully they will return for 2020

We began decorating the barn yesterday with this year’s crop of okra Santa ornaments, along with the addition of some fun okra gnomes! 18 days til the official opening day- November 28th- it’s coming soon!

I know we’ve been off the grid for a while, so to answer your questions, YES we will open Santa Land as usual at 10:00 AM on Thanksgiving morning! The trees have all had their final trimming this week, and are ready to be chosen for your Christmas celebrations. In our choose and cut field, we have a good selection of 5-13 foot cypress trees. Now for the bad news, we will NOT be able to offer pre-cut Fraser Firs this year. Though we’ve had some reserved since early in the y...ear, our order was recently cancelled due to an unexpected livestock accident on the NC farm that we use. Despite efforts with so many other farms in NC and VA, we have not been able to secure any Frasers. For our customers who prefer the fir, we hate to not be able to help you with a tree, but also want to give you ample time to make other plans. We encourage you to visit other tree farms in our area and support your local farmers. We would love for you to drop by Santa Land for your wreaths, crafts, and homemade goodies, though, or even for just a visit and cup of cider. Looking forward to seeing you all on Thanksgiving Day!! After the busiest 11 days ever, Santa Land is closing for the 2018 season due to inventory depletion. If you normally buy a tree from us, we regret terribly that we will not be able to supply you with a tree this year. Another good day at the farm; though it was WET, I always admire the determination of a family in search of just the right tree. We sold a lot of big ones today, but still have a good selection of 9-11 footers in the field, and 7 Frasers from 7-8.5 feet remain. Even if you don’t want a tree, it would be worth a trip to the farm tomorrow for one of these extras. Special thanks goes out to our sweet 10 year old Emily, who works so hard making these fabric tree garlands; to our talented niece who always graciously agrees to be our painter; and to my sister/baker extraordinaire who never disappoints with the sweet treats!
