Thank You Monroe County for voting us the Best Non-Profit! It is such an honor to receive this award! We appreciate all of our faithful supporters who helped carry us through the past year as we continued finding homes for our sweet pups during such trying times!

Sweet Emma just wants a family to call her own! She has been with us since February of last year- 513 days. This precious blank lab mix came to us with three puppies. A Good Samaritan saw Emma and her puppies thrown from a vehicle and pulled over to help them... how could we say no to this girl!? She was such a wonderful momma to those little babies! All puppies have been long adopted and yet Emma still waits. We know that she is house trained and she rarely has an accid...ent in her kennel. She loves people once she warms up- that usually takes about a minute! Emma does not like cats though... she went on a trial-adoption awhile back and unfortunately had to come back because she was chasing the kitty! We think it’s safe to say that Princess Fiona is happy in her new home!!

Rubble! This guy has been with us going on 2 years... he probably has the biggest personality out of all of our rescues! He is fun and super energetic- he would make an AMAZING RUNNING BUDDY! He has energy for days and would do great on a farm or somewhere with plenty of room to run and roam. He gets along well with other dogs who can handle his energy level. He loves to fetch but his favorite thing to do is get in the WATER! He Loves The Pool! (The smaller the better hahaha) Rubble is so sweet and loves affection too.

We desperately need adopters!! If you or anyone you know of looking to adopt a pup, PLEASE send them our way. We have an adoption application posted in our albums. We are looking to find some adopters soon so that we can help pull more from Monroe and Bibb County Animal Services as they are both at capacity! We have some very deserving dogs at our shelter. Dogs that have been with us for months and some even years... we can tell you so much about them! We have older calmer dogs and some young and sweet pups as well. They are so worth it! Please reach out to us!

Triton is currently our oldest puppy. This Beagle/Shepherd Mix is 8 years old but that’s a drop in the bucket for him... he is very active and in amazing shape! Triton is good with other dogs but definitely prefers people. He is extremely loyal and very well behaved. He is the only dog that we know without a doubt that we can take outside off leash. He does his business and will run around and sniff a little but then he is right back by your side. He is 100% house trained a...nd never makes a mess in his kennel. Triton also has THE SOFTEST coat you will ever feel!!! Don’t take our word for it though, come meet him and pet him for yourself!! This guy really has waited long enough- 3 months so far... we really don’t want him to be with us forever. He has proven himself as THE BEST BOY and we know there is someone out there who would be so lucky to have him. See more

Harley Girl sporting her patriotic bandana from this holiday weekend! (Formerly known as Koshu: adopted back in February) Isn’t she beautiful!!!!? Her mom writes:... She is doing so good loves to run and she does this thing that my granddaughter calls zoomies. She tucks her little behind and runs so fast. She still doesn’t bark; never met a dog that is so quiet. She is such a people person. Loves to sit in your lap and loves her treats. See more
