Happy #nationalproposal day! One of the things I love learning about my couples is how he or she popped the question. I’ve heard some really great ones over the years. The one that sticks out in my mind involved a field and herd of cows.

One of my favorite things about making art has always been that ‘accidents’ or mistakes, or unintended elements, often turn into my favorite part of a photo or painting. I love that the light on the wall looks like a pregnant belly. There is also a photo of Sarah’s beautiful pregnant belly in the background, which is perfectly mirrored by the light.
