A young lady is about to start her journey to freedom from addiction.She has no possessions and by that I mean no clothes,no toothbrush,no anything.I am very li...mited on the size clothing she will need.I am asking for all you smaller sized ladies to please(if able) donate gently used clothing items.I am also including a list of needed items for her long term time in treatment.If anyone can help; please just comment with the name of what you can help with.I will message you and I will gladly pick up the item or items.Please search your hearts and be a part of this young ladies chance to begin a new life.The items are needed by Tuesday Sept the 8th..Thanks and God bless. Things have been on hold lately and I apologise.We all know life does that sometimes. I am however proud to announce that definite plans are coming into action. My handsome buddy, Charlie.

Part of my memories that I'm documenting.... When I was a child I loved no other like I loved my Pop Epps. I would copycat his every move. I remember when he was under the hood of a vehicle working, I would apply grease to my face to look like him. At the dinner table us kids would argue over who sat next to Pop.I and my cousin Jeff often won those arguments because we were older. Pop was at the right hand of the dinner table and Memaw sat to his right but in between usually... would be Jeff or/and Shane ( Jeff's younger brother) and me or/and Dawn ( my younger sister) to his left.It was real important for me to sit close to him as I would mimic everything he did.I would even eat foods that most children would be picky about from mocking him bite by bite. Pop was a godly man We all would rather his spankings than his lectures. However through these lectures we learned of Gods love and right from wrong. He made sure we all went to church We often went Sunday morning, Sunday night and Wednesday night. I attended Sunday School and I had perfect attendance at Bible School every summer.Then my Daddy also played drums in a gospel group and his sister my Aunt Skipper( Jeff and Shane's Mama)sang in the group. So we were often at gospel singings on Saturday nights.I have so many memories of being raised in my younger years at the home of Pop and Memaw Epps.Floods of wonderful memories....... See more

God is with us always. To look at the sunrise or to hear the birds songs is such wonderful proof that God is with us. I thank the Lord for these and all His blessings. What if we could not see or could not hear these wonderful signs? Thank you Lord today for my sight and hearing and thank you mostly for the ability for my heart to see and hear you.

Life is constantly throwing us curveballs. I told myself this does not mean I can't learn to hit them balls out of the park.
