Police Officer appreciation week! Any officer in uniform who eats with us this week - Tuesday - Wednesday or Thursday (June 16 - 18) will receive their meal half price, includes drink.

I would like first thank everyone who came out to eat with us today, and I would like to apologize if you had a long wait. We are still trying to train new employees and honestly we were not prepared for a record breaking day. It has been pretty slow during covid 19 and we were unfortunately understaffed today. Again I sincerely apologize and I hope you will bare with us while we try to get back to normal.

Since covid 19 has come into our lives I'm sure you've noticed that the prices on most of the items in the stores have gone up, if you can even find them. Unfortunately this is true with the folks in the restaurant business as well. I have tried to absorb the increase in prices as long as I could, hoping it would soon come back down. I'm very sorry to say at this point I have no choice but to increase some of our prices until this is over. We know times are hard for all of you, I assure you we are not trying to make more money, we are just trying to keep our doors open. Beginning May 27th we will have to add 50 cents to all of our hot sandwiches, breakfast plates and dinners. Please bare with us until we can get through this and then we will go back to our regular prices. We thank you and appreciate your understanding.

We have made the decision to reopen our dining room on Tuesday, May 26th. We will be following all of the safety guidelines set by the state. If you are high risk or still are not comfortable coming in, please continue to use our drive-thru services. We didn't make the guidelines, we are just following them, so we ask for your patience and understanding while we take the time between each customer to keep you safe and abide by the distancing rules. We are excited to be serving you again and are so very thankful to have you as our customers.

After giving our situation a great deal of thought, we have decided that we will not be reopening our dining area at this time. This virus is more prominent in Habersham County than ever. We are not willing to put the health of our customers or employees at risk. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope you will still visit us at our drive-thru. Since there will be several restaurants reopening Monday, we have also decided it won't be necessary for us to open on Mondays. Our hours will go back to Tuesday thru Saturday 7 am until 8 pm and Sunday 8 am until 3 pm. We appreciate each and every one of you and pray that you will stay safe.

Through the kindness and generosity of our HEMC Employees, (who took the money from their own pockets) we will be giving $5.00 off of your order for the first 40 customers this Friday (April 10th). Beginning Monday April 6th, we will do a trial run of being open on Mondays. The hours will be from 7 am until 8 pm. We'll try this for a couple of weeks and if there is enough business to cover our cost we will continue. Please help us spread the word. Thank you
