So you think you can Turkish ? ? When I first started cabaret I wanted to do the Turkish get up for a million and one reasons. However, anyone that knows me, k...now I want more from my body. I want everything better. I want to push the limitations of my mind, my body, and physics to the limit. Almost three years ago I began training for a dream I had. To create the most difficult Turkish get up ever. I believe I have. 22 dislocated ribs, a dislocated pelvis, countless shoulder dislocations, and many months later I forced my body to submit to my dream. I forced my body to be strong enough to complete what my mind envisioned. I have named it the Tsorokean roll because to my knowledge it has never been done to this extent, to this difficulty before. I share this not to brag, but to encourage. No one will believe in your dreams they way you do. NOT ONE SINGLE PERSON. They are your dreams. So, be your own damn hero. Make your dreams come true. Make your body submit to your will. Believe. Cry. Scream. Believe. And get off your butt and work for those dreams. Do this, and your body will submit. Believe.
