So I had to wait a bit for this announcement, but Briegton has moved on in his career from Savannah Bend Marina to Baskin Robbins Fire Department. Briegton came to us a college kid at Armstrong, and ended up being a great forklift driver. He was always around. It was like he lived at the marina or something. Good luck in the future buddy, and stop by and see us from time to time!

Pretty high tide this morning. Almost didn't need the forklift to get them in.

Everyone knows I went to Ohio University, but I swear I didn't go up to Athens and steal Rufus, the mascot, and set him free on our docks today. Thanks to the Martins, whose boat it was on for taking the video. Go Bobcats!

All storm prep is complete. We will be open tomorrow unless the weather gets crazy. Good work from the crew preparing the marina.

We are monitoring the situation, and will be securing the facility tomorrow on Sunday afternoon. As of now we will be open for business Sunday. Will post updates as we see them.

We are watching the Bahamas. Looks like it going to go more east as the day goes on, but we are already making moves to secure marina. There is a full moon Monday so we will have a higher than normal tide. This could cause some flooding along the Wilmington River.
