What an amazing weekend. It's been almost a year and a half since I decided to move on from this place after being there 8 years. Savannah Mission Bible Trainin...g Center and the people who fill it will always hold a huge place in my heart. Which is a massive understatement. This is where transformation takes place.. This is a place God uses to take lost children, and turn them into real, genuine, men and women of faith.. This is a place where hope is alive and well.. This is where we're clearly reminded that change IS possible - and never to late. I'm living proof. It's His great hidden gem. And those who find it are called blessed. I've learned that this Christian walk isn't meant to be walked alone. These are just some of the people, just like me, that God has placed in my life. Good morning Each time he said, My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness. So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power ...of Christ can work through me. 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NLT) Before I was ashamed to tell others my struggles with drugs and depression. I thought people would look at me different or judge me, but now I’m glad to tell others about my struggles. It wasn’t me who got clean but it was God through me because I was so weak and couldn’t get clean on my own but the power of Christ in me helped me and now I’m blessed beyond all measure. So I had to humble myself and ask for help not only from God but from Mission Teens. It’s a faith based rehab that teaches you to rely on God and build a relationship with him. They have a center in pretty much every state so if you know anyone who is struggling with drugs,alcohol, depression,anxiety, pretty much anything, give them a call. It will change your life! God is still in the miracle business. We're grateful today that even when there is so much fear and uncertainty in the world He shows himself to be Jehovah Jireh. The Lord God our provider. This past month we were able to replace our two main commercial HVAC units and provide a new chest of drawers for every resident.
