Dancers from our performance ensemble class created their very own show, which we usually perform in assisted living homes several times a year. Senior Spotlight Meet Andre McGregor! Andre has been put on the wait list for the very prestigious The Juilliard School in New York City. If he lands a spot he will be attending Juilliard in the fall for a BFA in Dance! Favorite Dance Department memory: My favorite performance memory is doing the pas de deux with Jaelin in Appalachian Springs. It was just so cool to be a freshman and to be doing a pas in a department that I had just joined. My favorite non performance related memory is when I received an "honorary" hokey pokey stick I guess you could call it. I thought it was very nice of them to think of me as I was graduating early and would never really have a chance to get the Hokey Pokey stick. #saadance #congratsAndre

Senior Spotlight Meet Savannah Rachael! Savannah will be attending Mercyhurst University in the fall to double major in Dance and Forensic Science. Savannah has received a $20,000 scholarship for Dance. Senior Spotlight Meet Lian Ho Chen! Lian will be attending the University of Georgia in the Fall and majoring in AB Political Science. Lian says Though I am not going to major in dance, I am planning to find a way to still incorporate it into my schedule as much as possible! And when asked about her favorite Dance Department memory she says, Hands down our first ever senior circle our freshman year!
