Carter caught up with SCAD - The University for Creative Careers President and Founder Paula Wallace for an exhibition walkthrough reminiscing on past sets, costumes, and unforgettable Oscar-winning moments! Carter joined the #SCADFASH team to make final adjustments, suggestions, and share insights during the installation of her new exhibition Ruth E. Carter: Afrofuturism in Costume Design, now on view through Sept. 2021 at SCAD FASH Museum of Fashion and Film in Atlanta.

In 201718, #SCADFASH presented Guo Pei: Couture Beyond, the acclaimed designer’s first U.S. solo museum exhibition, with more than 30 of her grandest, most dramatic gowns from the past decade. . . Regram Guo Pei: Guo Pei used numerous symbols to express Chang’e’s nostalgia for her lover Hou Yi, such as a phoenix couple representing the pair flying together.
