It has now been 2 weeks since we returned from Nicaragua and I can’t stop thinking about the communities that we visited, the people that we met and the impact ...that it has made on each and every one of us. God blessed us with an amazing team that was from all parts of the US plus locals from Nicaragua and used every single one of us to the fullest. This year’s mission trip was quite different from our previous missions Trips and as always our focus is to reach the unreached communities and tribes. So in order to reach these communities and Tribes we had to travel by Truck / Van, horses, airplane (inner country flight), on foot and many hours on boats. We reached and ministered to: - 18 different communities (Most of them were in the Jungles and Tribal places along Rio Coco and Caribbean Ocean) and at most of them we were the 1st missionaries to reach them. - 12 Church Services - 1 Handicapped orphanage (we have been coming here every year and supporting them by doing our program, spending time with them, bringing Diapers, Wipes, Dry milk and snacks) - We reached 3,325 people (that is excluding the people from the churches that we ministered at) - 2,367 kids - 958 adults - 1,426 kids and 37 adults picked up their hand to receive Jesus There were number of times that we were in Danger from: Traveling in a small boat on the Ocean during a storm, Gangs, Slept in a Cabin that was full of Large Spiders, Traveling on Dangerous roads and walking through a flooded Terrain that was full of poop and everything else that you can imagine. Through all of this God's protection was on each and every one of us and for the 1st time no one in our team got sick or hurt. To me this is the Greatest testimony because this year like never before we went deeper and further.
