Hey guys, Time for a real moment, real estate aside. Everyone is talking about the pandemic. COVID-19. ... I have been emailed by every institution, Church, vendor, etc. Everyone has something to say, so here’s my 2 cents. Honestly, I am so proud of us as a nation about how we are handling this. Our government taking swift and decisive action, our churches for reaching out to their congregations, our vendors and doctors for addressing the issue etc. Neighbors are being neighborly, families are being loving, people at the stores are being kind, even with the undertone of real concern. I just think what an incredible experience, that really at the heart of things, we are together in this. No party lines. It’s about time. Truly, this is a moment where our busyness has been stripped from us. Over-committed is a yesterday thing. What do we have now? Time at home. With the people (and pets) that we love. Time to reflect. Time to take stock of what we have that matters - our blessings. We all have different blessings. Some have health, some have love, some have resources, access to medical care; children, education... there is truly so much to be thankful for if we take a moment to reflect. Out of crisis comes opportunity. While we wait out this unprecedented time in our nation’s history, reconnect with those you have lost touch with - take this as a reset to remember the good you have forgotten. Make an effort to be kind - who needs to hear from you? There is someone you know that would welcome a call from you. This too shall pass... come out the other side rested, and reconnected to those you love. We will all be better for it. You are all in my prayers daily. Jess
