We had a fantastic final dress rehearsal for our upcoming production of Mozart’s Der Schauspieldirektor! I can’t wait for these amazing students to share this hilarious opera buffa!

We’re off and running in tech week for our upcoming performance of Mozart’s hilarious opera buffa, Der Schauspieldirektor! The performances will be sung in German with English dialogue! We will be releasing a video premier of this one act opera for all to enjoy this spring!

Dr. Minnita Daniel-Cox, Soprano & Associate Professor of Music at the University of Dayton, will present a voice area masterclass on African American art songs,... spirituals, and opera arias. Students from the Schwob School of Music Voice Area will perform in this masterclass event. CSU faculty, students, staff, and community members are welcome to register for this free virtual event hosted on Zoom.
