Screven County 12U just won 13-0 over Reidsville to advance to tomorrow’s State Championship game here at 10:00AM on field 6.

Screven County 12U won this morning 3-0 over Fitzgerald. They will play again at 10:00AM in the morning in the winners bracket vs Reidsville on field 6. The winner will advance to Friday’s championship game.

Screven County 12U won today 8-2 over Jasper County. They will play again at 10:00AM in the morning against Fitzgerald on field 5.

Games for our 12U State Tournament starting today are still on. Games begin at 4:00PM today. If anything changes with the weather we’ll update everyone.

The GRPA Class C State Tournament for 12U Baseball begins here tomorrow at 4:00PM on fields 5&6. Screven County will start off tomorrow at 4:00PM against Jasper County on field 5. If you get a chance, come see these All-Stars this week. Tournament will be Tuesday-Friday. Also, our 8U Boys will be playing at Appling County and our 14U Boys will be playing at Jeff Davis this week. Brackets are available at www.screvenrec.com. Youth cheerleading camp will be at our gym the week of July 26. Flyers are available at our office or SCHS & SCES.

Our youth basketball camp begins tomorrow. There’s still time to sign up. Camp will be Monday-Friday from 10:00am-12:00pm in our gym. The cost is $30. Ages 7-12 boys and girls. Come by our office in the morning if you need to sign up. We open at 8:00am.

Congratulations to our 8U Boys, 12U Boys & 14U Boys All-Stars for a hard fought week of District baseball. All 3 teams finished as District Runner-Up this week to qualify for the GRPA State Tournaments the week of June 22-25. Our 8U team will play State at Appling County, our 12U team will be playing State in Sylvania, and our 14U team will play State at Jeff Davis. Congratulations to these players and coaches for their hard work!
