Remember that even though we may look upon ourselves as unworthy for all He has done for us, God Himself loves us, and because of that love does not see us as unworthy...maybe undeserving, but not unworthy. If He had to send His Son to die on the cross for just one of us, He would have. We are worth that much to Him (John 3:16). It is what we have done that makes us undeserving. Thank Him that He still counts us as worthy to receive His love. It is only those who reject that love that can be determined as unworthy (read Matthew 10:11-15) More on this subject later...

News that everyone needs to know about ---- please add to your prayer list Pastor Ed's mother-in-law (Cheryl's mother) .... Michael got a message from Pastor Ed that she has fallen and broken her hip in two places. I understand that she is still in Tennessee. Obviously, this puts a crimp in the moving plans. Will update this fb page as more info is forwarded to me.

I added some of the phoos from the Fall Festval, 2012. I ran into some unexpected problems, however. It picked up one photo twice, downloaded some I did not select and missed downloading some I did select. Also, I notice the typing here is very erratic. I have heard from several friends they are having similar problems, so i appears to b a facebook problem. I will keep an eye on it to see it things improve. Also have several photos from Pastor Ed's first day at our church. I will attempt to post them in a few days. Maybe the problems can be cleared up by then. DVDs of his first sermon done Novembe 17, 2012, will be available for a short time.

Time is going by so fast it seems that it is time to select the nominating committee For next years officers again, as there is just a few more months left in the year, and it takes so long to get everyone lined up for this hope someone is paying attention so we dont have to rush at the last minute...

I got word of funeral plans for Mike. The viewing will be at Cobbs Funeral Home in Moultrie Tuesday, July 30, 6 - 8 pm. The funeral will be at the Valdosta SDA Church on Wednesday, July 31, at 11am. A graveside service will be held at Cobbs Funeral Home Wednesday, July 31, at 2pm.

I have some very distressing news that reached me this morning. From what I have heard, Mike Adams passed away about 3AM this morning. Since I had not heard of him being back in the hospital, I assume it happened at his home. I could say all the usual things, but I must bring this out - he was one of the first two people that I met from our church before I even attended my first service. I got to know him and his family as part of my group of true friends while also doing... their pest control service while they lived out near Sale City. I always had to make extra time when I went out to do their service, because Mike and I would inevitably get into a discussion on some Bible subject or scripture. It was always one of the best times of the day, week, and month, giving me something to look forward to among all the problems one has to deal with when your work is 99% dealing with people.. So, Mike, keep your Bible handy, cause I'm sure we'll still have a lot to talk about when we meet again. Amen. - Roger See more
