Indian Springs is important to the Story of Senoia, GA! Chief McIntosh and other tribal leaders signed the Treaty of Indian Springs there. What a story though! After the dust settled, Georgia continued its lottery for this new land acquired from the Creek Nation and settlers came from South Carolina to start afresh. Senoia Area Historical Society 11.12.2020

Lighting the Way and Guiding Us into 2021 are the latest additions to the Senoia Area History Museum's artifacts: two Atlantic Coast Line Railroad lanterns used at the depot on Seavy Street. These lanterns were generously donated by Mrs. Shirley Orr and are on display in the Senoia Room. We are looking forward to reopening the museum in 2021 once we've restored the chimneys and the interior of the museum. Here's wishing that we all have a... Happy New Year!

Our SAHS Museum (obviously) will be closed to our patrons until further notice. Our chimney craftsmen take a well-earned lunch break. Chimneys on the west side are complete, and now the two east-side ones are under construction. What a way to start the new year!
