Wishing all of our Serenity friends a merry and safe Christmas!

We all knew this day would come....but, I guess we just always think we have more time. After what was initially thought to be mild colic (potentially due to acorns), our vet discovered a massive growth this afternoon. He said he had no idea how Nomo was doing so well as he was in tremendous pain. There was nothing to be done...and suddenly it was his time. As the heart wrenching decision was made, a troop of Girl Scouts happened to be visiting the farm. They stopped by to me...et, cuddle, and love on our sweet boy. After a lifetime of teaching so many, such a fitting farewell. Thank you, Nomo....for everything. You were loved so much and will be missed by so many. The farm will not be the same without you. Send positive thoughts and healing to Romeo...the other half of "Nomeo". "Somewhere...somewhere in time's own space, there must be some sweet pastured place. Where creeks sing on and tall trees grow, some paradise where horses go. For by the love that guides my pen, I know great horses live again." -Stanley Harrison RIP Nomo...you were truly one of the great ones

Thanks to everyone who helped create, donate, volunteer, and attend our first annual Halloween event! The weather was absolutely perfect and the decorations/obstacles were a hit! Big shout out to Izzy and her amazingly creative mind! She had lots of helping hands, but she definitely brought our vision to "life"! We are already brainstorming for next year!
