It’s almost the perfect weather for collards! Lots of folks wait until the first frost before buying. We think Monday night the temperatures could be low enough for it to sweeten the big leaves right up! We have plenty growing whether you’re waiting for the first frost or love them either way.

Dach has his car out a little early to get it gassed up to go Trick or Treating. He couldn’t resist wearing his hotdog costume in his Oscar Mayer car this year for Halloween. Be sure to have plenty of candy ready when he stops by your house tonight!!

We have these last tomatoes for the season - some green, some between red and green, and some red. If you want some fried green tomatoes or one more tomato sandwich, stop by a grab a few while they last.

Sometimes even late in the season, the garden will surprise us. Our Prime Arkansas and Navaho blackberry plants are providing just enough berries for a few more cobblers.

Good Monday morning!! We hope everyone had a beautiful weekend. Today we are covered up in okra! We have almost 2 bushels. If you’ve wanted to pickle some, come on over and get all you need! We also have lots of delicious tomatoes - red and green!... Our eggplants are producing well and so are the green beans. It may be inching toward fall, but we still have some wonderful vegetables coming in!

When we say we have muscadines, we mean WE HAVE MUSCADINES! Just picked these beauties this morning. It’s heaven to walk to the vines and smell them before you get to them. Life on the farm is wonderful.

Good afternoon!! It may be September, but the garden is still at work. We have cantaloupe, okra, green beans, tomatoes, bell peppers, jalapeños, eggplant, scuppernongs, muscadines, numerous jams and jellies, and honey. Even the crowder and purple hull pease have started producing again. We’ll be picking those tomorrow!! If you’re interested in the peas, please contact us so we can hold some for you. They will go FAST, and the quantities are limited as they are just getting started again. (We also have popsicles for any little shoppers you may bring with you ) Hope to see you soon!

Our muscadines and scuppernongs surprised us again this year by being ripe a little earlier than usual. This is the only time of year you can get these delicious grapes, so don’t let the opportunity pass you by. Never tried a Muscadine or Scuppernong? We’d be happy to let you sample a few!
