Growing food and gardening is an essential service during this time, and careful practices will be followed to ensure that Covid-19 is not spread by any activities we do in relation to running a garden at SCI. A limit of 4 people in the garden at any time will be enforced and participants will remain separated by a safe 6-feet or more distance. A disinfectant will be on hand to spray the fence door and tool shed combination lock and door handle, or any tools we use from the ...shed. If you are interested in a garden plot, please message this page or call me, Greg Baugher, at 404-353-8734. Or you can come by the garden (end of N. Summers) on Saturday April 4 or Saturday April 11, from 10 am - 12 noon, so you can pick out the specific plot you would like. Plots are 10 feet by 10 feet for $10 (same as last year) and will be tilled and fenced. We would really love to fill up all the plots and get a lot of people involved in growing their own food (just not many at the same time!). There are some garden rules and a liability release form to sign.
