Wynnton Neighborhood Network For many years, Shearith Israel has been a member of the WNN (Wynnton Neighborhood Network), an interfaith network of synagogues and churches. WNN provides emergency help to those in need and is the only Food Bank in Columbus that is open five days per week. Synagogue members are encouraged to drop off food at the Food Bank since our building is currently closed. The Food Bank is located at 2100 Hilton Ave, and is open Tuesday Friday, 10:00 am to 12:30 pm. A volunteer will unload the food. The following items are requested: Soup Canned Vegetables Canned Meat Canned Tomato Products Boxed Mac & Cheese Spaghetti Sauce and Noodles Jelly Peanut Butter Rice Toilet paper, bar soap, laundry detergent (powdered or pods) Donations are always appreciated! Yizkor refers to memorial prayers recited four times a year in memory of our loved ones. These prayers are recited on Yom Kippur and the holidays of Passover, Shavuot and Sukkot.
